<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tonneau cover device for a vehicle capable of keeping a winding device arranged at as forward portion of the vehicle as possible in a luggage compartment without causing a tonneau cover to interfere with a rear header when a lift gate is opened, and of securing a wide opening area when the lift gate is opened, and which enables a cargo to be loaded and unloaded easily to the luggage compartment. <P>SOLUTION: The rear end of the tonneau cover 30 is connected to a lift gate 24 movably in the vertical direction and moving means 39 are provided that move the tonneau cover 30 to the rear of the lift gate 24 when the lift gate 24 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
