<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common key exchange method and the like for exchanging a common key between devices performing communications by a common key encryption system, and by which the common key exchange can be performed with a simple process and with safety. <P>SOLUTION: A fixed key table in which a plurality of fixed key data having index information is stored is provided identically for each of a first device and a second device. A method of exchanging common key data between devices performing communications by a common key encryption system, includes: selecting arbitrary fixed key data of the arbitrary number from the fixed key table to generate common key data by predetermined calculation processing and hold the generated common key data, by a first device; transmitting the index information included in the selected fixed key data to the second device, by the first device; and acquiring fixed key data corresponding to the transmitted index information from the fixed key table to generate common key data by the predetermined calculation processing and hold the generated common key data, by the second device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
