<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing body that provides process stability during assembling and sufficient strength and chemical resistance as a product without impairing characteristics of a microporous film having a high porosity. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a nonwoven fabric for reinforcing a microporous film that contains a glass fiber having a fiber diameter of 3-12 μm and a polyolefinic fiber having a fiber diameter of 1 μm or more, and a thermal adhesion is formed by the polyolefinic fiber.
