<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for manufacturing snowboards which is made convenient for waste disposal by changing components of the conventional snowboard, and to provide a snowboard manufacturing kit allowing general consumers themselves to finish snowboards to preferable shapes and color tones. <P>SOLUTION: This material for manufacturing snowboards includes a polyethylene sole material 1, and a core material 2 to be fixed onto the sole material 1, and the core material 2 is constituted by inserting a wood-based reinforcing material 4 between two wood-based plate materials 3. The reinforcing material 4 formed from a sliced veneer of a bamboo composite material, and the wood-based plate material 3 formed from a poplar wood.
