<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for weaving in an air jet loom which can improve quality of fabric to be woven when the weaving is performed by use of previously dyed thread as a weft in an air jet type loom. <P>SOLUTION: A method is implemented by an air jet type loom comprising a main nozzle for weft insertion and a plurality of sub-nozzles disposed in a weft insertion path. Each sub-nozzle group performs air spray in relay in a predetermined timing in an order starting from a group at a side of yarn feeding so as to assist the running of weft extruded from the main nozzle. The air jet type loom comprises an auxiliary jet nozzle which positions its nozzle in the vicinity of a tip of the main nozzle for applying air jet to the weft that is drawn by the main nozzle. In weaving a previously dyed thread as weft, the auxiliary jet nozzle performs jet action in a predetermined period between the timing of finishing weft insertion and the timing of the weft being caught by warp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
