摘要 A fuel cell system, which operates in non-humid conditions and is capable of managing the moisture state inside a fuel cell to be an optimal state which enables a high-output to be attained and enables occurrences of dry-up to be avoided. A first fuel cell system is characterised by the flow direction of a fuel gas in a fuel gas flow channel and the flow direction of an oxidant gas in an oxidant gas flow channel being opposite to one another, and by being provided with a water vapour control means which controls the amount of water vapour on the basis of a target water-vapour amount which has been set in advance from the relationship between the amount of water vapour in an outlet in the fuel gas flow channel, and the voltage of the fuel cell. A second fuel cell system is characterised by the flow direction of the fuel gas in the fuel gas flow channel and the flow direction of the oxidant gas in the oxidant gas flow channel being opposite to one another, and by being provided with an average flow rate control means which controls the average flow rate on the basis of a target average flow rate which has been set in advance from the relationship between the average flow rate of the fuel gas in the fuel gas flow channel, and the voltage of the fuel cell.
