No suitable vehicles exist for persons or employees with slightly impaired mobility who need to cover only short to medium distances whilst moving through traffic-restricted areas. The aim of the invention is that such vehicles be characterized by light weight, versatile use and an energy-efficient drive. So that the finished vehicle is able to fulfil the many different requirements, the frame must first of all provide stability. This is ensured by the arm rest extension having a handhold (1) and the receiving device for drive wheels at the front (3). Secondly, the frame must provide flexibility. This is ensured by the rear part having the device for receiving the tiltable backrest (5), by the seat frame having the device for receiving the foldable seat (6), by the rear axle having the receiving device for the steerable rear wheels (8) and by the joint (2) for adjusting the angle of inclination of the seat. A frame has been developed that brings with it the technical preconditions which enable a compact vehicle to be constructed according to individual needs; said vehicle enables the user to move from the door of the home thereof to the destination thereof and carry out the intended business thereof there without having to leave the vehicle. |
