Provided is a three-dimensional imaging device (100) for generating depth information in order to create a three-dimensional image from an input image. The three-dimensional imaging device (100) is provided with: an imaging unit (130) for acquiring the input image by means of imaging; a subject designation unit (110) for designating a subject in the input image acquired by the imaging unit (130); a resolution setting unit (120) for setting a plurality of depth values representing mutually different depth positions, so that, in a direction parallel to the depth direction of the input image, the depth resolution near the subject designated by the subject designation unit (110) becomes higher than the depth resolution of a position separated from the subject; and a depth map generator (140) for generating two-dimensional depth information corresponding to the input image, by determining, for each region of the input image, a depth value indicating the depth position of the corresponding region, from among the plurality of depth values set by the resolution setting unit (120).
