PURPOSE: A lining material and method for preventing the corrosion of carbon steel in an alkaline environment are provided to reduce friction of an ion exchange resin with a mixed phase resin tower which uses alkaline solution for recovery of the ion exchange resin in the mixed phase resin tower. CONSTITUTION: A lining method uses a fluorine resin for lining the tower materials of an anion exchange tower and a mixed phase resin tower. The fluorine resin is one or more selected from Teflon resins comprising TFE(Tetrafluoroethylene Polymer), FEP(Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene Resin), PFA(Perfluoroalkoxy Resin), and ETFE(Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene).
