PURPOSE: A method for preparing a cosmetic agent isolated from Artemisia princeps varsa ash is provided to effectively remove melasma, fleck, seborrheic keratosis, and fine wrinkles. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a cosmetic composition comprises: a step of incomplete burning well-dried Artemisia princeps varsa leaves to prepare ash; a step of mixing 100 parts by weight of water and 0.5-2.0 parts by weight of ash and boiling for 30 minutes to three hours; a step of precipitating to collect supernatant; and a step of filtering the supernatant.
