<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of surely maintaining a holding state of a capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system 10 is provided with a light source module 23 having a capacitor 23c not directly mounted on a light source circuit board 23a, a base 4 supplying power to the light source module 23, and an insulation ring 3 connected to the base 4.
