<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a lighting system with fine light distribution characteristics cannot be obtained with the lighting system that uses LEDs as a light source, and especially, the lighting system having light distribution characteristics equivalent to those of an incandescent bulb cannot be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system, provided with a light source module and a light guide member arranged in opposition to a light-emitting part of the light source module for propagating light beams of the light source module, illuminates by emission light from the light guide member. The light guide member has optical function faces at a first end part adjacent to the light-emitting part and a second end part at the opposite side, the optical function faces transmitting part of light beams and reflecting the rest, and at the same time, has a light extraction structure at each side face adjacent to the first end part as well as the second end part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
