<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability and productivity of an optical device where an optical device element is mounted on a glass material. <P>SOLUTION: The optical device is configured by performing intermetallic bonding of an electrode formed of a transparent member and a protruding electrode of an optical device element by using supersonic vibration. The optical device element is lightweight and can be made thin and compact.
