<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase players' excitement and enjoyment without spending an additional expenditure. <P>SOLUTION: A signal by which a card reader 50 indicates a ball rent rate is outputted to a pay-out controlling microcomputer 370. The pay-out controlling microcomputer transmits a command corresponding to the signal to a game controlling microcomputer 560 via an existing signal line. The game controlling microcomputer 560 transmits a command corresponding to the command to a performance controlling microcomputer 100 via the other existing signal line.
