<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten search time by omitting examination of each data packet when a data stream is scanned. <P>SOLUTION: A method is provided in which a prescribed position in a data stream of a first type is stored or rearranged, and in which data items included in a first data packet are combined without changing an order and a second or another data packet is formed, one or a plurality of different data streams of a second type or another type are generated.
