<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger with enlarged heat transfer area and improved assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: This heat exchanger includes: a refrigerant inflow/outflow tank 2 having a refrigerant inflow chamber 2i and a refrigerant outflow chamber 2o disposed in a direction opposite to a flow of air A; a plurality of refrigerant-inflow-side tubes 3 connected to the refrigerant inflow chamber 2i; a plurality of refrigerant-outflow-side tubes 4 connected to the refrigerant outflow chamber 2o; and a refrigerant return tank 5 that sends refrigerant R supplied through the refrigerant-inflow-side tubes 3 from the refrigerant inflow chamber 2i through the refrigerant-outflow-side tubes 4 to the refrigerant outflow chamber 2o. Both the tanks 2, 5 are equipped with: trough-shaped seat plates 21, 51 that interconnect with the tubes 3, 4; flat plates 22, 52 that cover spaces Sa, Sb; and central columns 23, 53 that divide the spaces Sa, Sb. In the seat plates 21, 51 of the tanks 2, 5, fixing troughs 21d are formed that are connected by brazing slidably in the lengthwise direction of the seat plates 21, 51 with both edges 22a, 52a of the flat plates 22, 52 and the ends 23a, 53a of the central columns 23, 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
