METHOD FOR INTEGRATING THREE-DIMENSIONAL DATA AND TWO-DIMENSIONAL DATA WITH EACH OTHER, AND WATCHING SYSTEM AND MONITORING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for integrating three-dimensional data and two-dimensional image data with each other which can obtain a flexible recognition result with high reliability by associating the three-dimensional data such as distance image data with the two-dimensional image data and complementarily using the distance image data and the two-dimensional image data, and to provide robust monitoring and watching systems using the same.

SOLUTION: The system includes: a two-dimensionally data acquiring step of acquiring two-dimensionally data; a three-dimensionally data acquiring step of acquiring three-dimensionally data; an associating step of associating the position of the two-dimensionally data and the position of the three-dimensionally data with each other; and a superimposing step of superimposing the three-dimensionally data on the two-dimensionally data based on a result which has been obtained by associating the positions in the associating step.
