<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel sensor capable of improving detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An outer electrode 30 has a cylindrical shape and is stored in a storage hole 22 of a passage formation means 20. The outer electrode 30 includes a first circulation port 36 which communicates with an upstream side fuel passage 23 arranged at an entrance side of a fuel passage 21 and a second circulation port 37 which communicates with a downstream side fuel passage 24 arranged at an exit side of the fuel passage 21 in a radial direction. An inner electrode 40 is arranged inside the diameter of the outer electrode 30. A detection circuit detects an electrical characteristics of fuel flowing in an inner passage 41 formed between the outer electrode 30 and the inner electrode 40. An outer passage 34 formed between an inner wall which forms the storage hole 22 of the passage formation means 20 and an outer wall of the outer electrode 30 has larger flow channel resistance than the inner passage 41. Thus, the fuel flowing out from the inner passage 41 through the second circulation port 37 flows into the downstream side fuel passage 24 without flowing backward into the outer passage 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
