<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the axis accuracy of a stator and improve the performance and the efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary actuator 2 comprises: a brushless motor; a speed reducer 17 connecting with the brushless motor; an output shaft connecting with the speed reducer 17; a motor pole detection sensor 56 detecting the rotation of a rotor 13 of the brushless motor; and an output shaft angle detection sensor 57 detecting the rotational position of the output shaft.
