CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING STABILITY OF CROSS POINT OF EYE PATTERN

A control device and method for improving the stability of the cross point of an eye pattern. The control device comprises a cross point control module. The cross point control module comprises a voltage setting unit and a feedback control unit. The voltage setting unit is configured to set the reference voltage; and the feedback control unit is configured to perform feedback control on the cross point voltage corresponding to a cross point of an output eye pattern of an electro-absorption modulated laser to make the difference between the cross point voltage and the reference voltage be in a preset range. In the present invention, the feedback control over the cross point voltage of the laser can suppress the drift of the cross point of the electro-absorption modulated laser, improve the jitter performance of the emergent eye pattern and decrease the code error rate of the transmission end of the module, thereby improving the overall performance of the module integrating light emitting and receiving.
