The wind turbine power production system (1) further comprises a control unit (30) arranged for continuously; predicting a current estimated wind speed (v*) of a wind acting on the turbine rotor (2) based on at least hydraulic pressure (ph) represented by a high pressure measurement signal (44), calculating an optimised turbine rotational speed (É p *) of the turbine rotor (2) based on at least the estimated wind speed (v*), and sending a displacement control signal (32) to control the variable displacement (d) of the hydraulic motor to maintain the turbine rotational speed (É p ) at the same value as the optimised turbine rotational speed (É p *) to maintain an optimised tip speed ratio for the turbine rotor (2).</p> |
