PURPOSE: A device for cooling an engine room of construction heavy equipment is provided to effectively cool heating devices by increasing air volume of an oil cooler fan while reducing the pressure of the engine room. CONSTITUTION: A device for cooling an engine room of construction heavy equipment comprises an exhaust fan(501) and a counterweight(600). The pressure of the engine room is reduced and a cooling air flow increases by discharging suction air to the exhaust fan through an oil cooler fan(114) and a radiator fan(115). The exhaust fan and an opening(134) are installed on a side facing the counterweight. An exhaust space(601) facing the opening is formed in the counterweight. Exhaust air sucked into the exhaust space through the opening is discharged to an upper part of the exhaust space.
