PURPOSE: A prefabricated pier with a pier part formed by assembling vertically cut precast concrete parts and a construction method thereof are provided to improve stability by increasing the bending rigidity of the pier. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated pier with a pier part formed by assembling vertically cut precast concrete parts is composed of a pier part(100) and a coping part(200). The pier part is formed in a column shape by horizontally assembling vertically cut precast concrete parts(1). A concave section is formed on the inner surface of each vertically cut precast concrete part. When the concave sections are coupled to each other, the pier part has a hollow which can be filled with coupling filler. Main reinforcing bars(11) are vertically arranged inside the vertically cut precast concrete parts, and the top and bottom ends of the main reinforcing bars are extended to the outside the vertically cut precast concrete parts. The coping part is formed on the top end of the pier part. |
