PURPOSE: A novel arylpiperazine-containing purine derivative and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same are provided to improve an effect of treating central nervous system disorders. CONSTITUTION: A novel arylpiperazine-containing purine derivative contains a compound of chemical formula I or pharmaceutically acceptable salt or precursor thereof. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating depressive disorders contains the compound and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The pharmaceutical composition additionally contains selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor or a mixture thereof.
