An eyeglass light assembly includes a lightweight and configurable eyeglass light adapted to removably and interchangeably attach to an eyeglass frame The eyeglass light is adapted to provide a multiplicity of angle, pivot, and rotation configurations for varied use and adaptation at directing emitted light from an eyeglass frame. The eyeglass light provides for hands-free use when mounted and includes a flexible stem 16 upon which the light is coupled. The stem is further coupled to clip members 28 and 30 adapted to couple to one another using latches 60 and 58 to secure the assembly to eyeglass frames. The light source is housed in a cover 14 and a power source can be disposed in the base 26 of the eyeglass light. A wiring assembly can be disposed in the stem to couple the power source to the light source. The eyeglass light may include a switch 18 and a latchable door 34 housing the power source. |
