The bollard apparatus, primarily for preventing vehicular access, comprises a bollard member 3 and a foundation assembly 2 that comprises a housing part dimensioned and arranged to retain the base end of the bollard member together with cementing material 62 for cementing the bollard member to the foundation assembly within the housing part so that the inclination of the bollard member relative to the foundation assembly is adjustable while the cementing material is not set and fixed upon the cementing material becoming set. The bollard member preferably includes an anchor part adjacent its base end. Also claimed is a method of erecting a bollard, a shallow-mountable bollard assembly and a method of manufacturing a shallow-mounted bollard assembly. |
