An equine nutritional composition comprising: i) a first component comprising micronutrients, wherein said micronutrients include: the amino acids L-carnitine, L-arginine, L-cysteine and, optionally, L-lysine; folate; and, at least one mineral element selected from the group consisting of: selenium, iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc and manganese; and, ii) a second component comprising one or more fatty acids selected from each of the groups: omega-3 fatty acids; and, omega-6 fatty acids. The equine nutritional composition has utility in improving aspects of the reproductive health of stallions. |
