The installation (1) comprises a separation column (3) including a gas inlet (4) intended to be connected with a pressurized gas supply conduit and a gas outlet (6) intended to be equipped with a distribution conduit (7) that is intended to be connected with a collector. The separation process is carried out by pressure swing adsorption. The distribution conduit comprises a pneumatic insulation valve movable between open and closed positions for allowing or interrupting a flow of gas in the distribution conduit, and a flow regulator disposed in downstream of the insulation valve. The insulation valve is sensitive to pressure of gas supplied to the outlet of the separation column for engaging in the open position when the pressure of gas supplied to the outlet is greater than a determined threshold pressure and for engaging in the closed position when the pressure of gas supplied to the outlet is less than the determined threshold pressure. The insulation valve comprises a closure member, and a return member configured for producing an antagonist effort corresponding to the threshold pressure. The closure member comprises a piston defined by chambers, which are fluidically connected with the pressure of gas supplied to the outlet of the separation column, and an adjustable or non-adjustable pressure source. An independent claim is included for a process of producing and supplying nitrogen-enriched gas. |
