PURPOSE: An electronic control suspension device and a method for controlling the same for a vehicle connected with a hitch-connected object are provided to improve the suspension performance of a vehicle without negatively affecting the performace of a vehicle posture control apparatus by controlling the damping force of a vehicle wheel. CONSTITUTION: A control method for an electronic control suspension device is as follows: An electronic control suspension device receives the information of a hitch-connected object connected to a vehicle. Posture and steering angle information is gathered through a vehicle posture control apparatus. The damping force in the front and rear wheels of a vehicle are controlled according to the gathered information. In case a hitch-connected object is longer than a predetermined length or is heavier than a predetermined weight, the damping force and control time period are adjusted(S107). |
