<p>The bollard apparatus comprises a plurality of bollard members 15, a plurality of separate foot members 3, wherein each foot member has at least one bollard fixed thereon. At least one flexible coupling line 17 passes from at least one foot member to at least one other foot member thereby to couple separate foot members such that, in use, impact forces inducing movement in one coupled foot member are transmissible to another coupled foot member via the at least one flexible coupling line. The foot members may be formed of steel plate and the bollard members may be tubular steel secured to the foot member by welding. The flexible coupling lines may be steel cable and may permit relative movement between foot members and may be secured to an anchor. A kit of parts and a method of assembly a vehicle barrier are also claimed.</p> |
