METHOD FOR INCREASING THE OUTPUT OF A TRANSFER FILM DURING EMBOSSING AND DEVICE SUITABLE FOR SAID METHOD

The method involves producing two openings (10a) in a distance in a transfer position (1b) of a transfer film (1), and coiling the film according to a stamping process. Another stamping process is performed, and two regions of the transfer position are transferred by a stamping tool of the film on a substrate. The two regions are arranged between the two openings, and other two openings (11a) are produced in the transfer position of the transfer film, where the latter two openings are arranged axially spaced by the former two openings. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing a method for increasing yield of a transfer film during stamping i.e. hot stamping.
