PURPOSE: Weed growth controlling apparatus and method for fruit trees are provided to effectively control the growth of weed around the bottom part of the trees. CONSTITUTION: A weed growth controlling apparatus for fruit trees comprises the following: a through-hole formed on the center of a flexible bottom board member(10) formed with a resin or rubber material; an annular neck(14) extended from the outer circumference of the through hole to produce a filling space(16) for filling materials(17) having a weed growth controlling effect; a cut-out line(18) formed from one outer end of the bottom board member toward the annular neck; small-sized holes(28) formed on the bottom board member for passing through water and light; and a main body cover(2) combined to a flexible connection cover. The inner diameter of the through-hole is 80-400mm. |
