<p>The gasket has a pair of rectangular gasket sections (12, 13) with a planar longitudinal surface containing transverse recesses extending completely from the sections. An integral compressible sealing projection extends from the surface adjacent to the recesses. The recesses cooperate to define a gasket cable opening for receiving an electrical cable (4) when the sections are placed in an assembled condition with their surfaces in contiguous engagement. The projection is compressed between the sections to seal a space between the sections adjacent to the cable opening.</p>
