A motor vehicle (101 see fig 1) is provided for facilitating a service activity requiring the dispensing of a heated material. The motor vehicle comprises a heat engine, a generator, an electric motor, a battery, a receptacle for the heated material and a heat source for heating said heated material. When the vehicle is functional, operational components of the vehicle generate and dissipate waste heat. Heat recovery devices then transfer a proportion of said waste heat to said heated material. The vehicle may be a serial hybrid. The use of waste heat is aimed at reducing overall carbon emissions. |
