The method involves recording images by a camera i.e. wide-angle camera that is arranged in an exterior of a motor vehicle (1). The images are processed in a processing unit so that the images correspond to images of field of vision of a driver (8) and show obstacles (5, 6) e.g. beams, windscreen pillars and window frames, without limiting the field of vision. The images are displayed on projection surfaces (11, 12) by a projection device (10) that is arranged inside a motor vehicle. The surfaces are attached inside the obstacles in a front motor vehicle area. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for increasing a field of vision of a driver in a motor vehicle. |
