PURPOSE: A fax data sending system is provided to enable a receiving person to receive fax data transmitted from a transmitting facsimile of an originating person even though a fax number of the receiving facsimile is not provided to the transmitting facsimile. CONSTITUTION: An authentication code assigning unit(130) assigns an authentication code to fax data stored in a storage unit. A providing unit(140) provides the authentication code to a receiving person. The receiving person accesses a connection unit. The receiving person inputs an authentication code. The transmitting unit transmits fax data corresponding to the authentication code to a receiving device. The receiving device is appointed by receiver.
