The invention relates to medicine, particularly to pediatric cardiology.The method for predicting the evolution of congenital heart failure in children, complicated by pulmonary hypertension includes the clinical and paraclinical examination, establishing the following parameters: fulminant complication of dyspnea (ABD), type of anatomico-physiopathologic pulmonary shunt (TAFSP), surgical correction (SCC), trisomy of chromosome 21 (DOWN), status of extremities (EMR), child growth disturbance (TCC), respiratory distress (DR), effort syncope (SIN) and carotid shudder or fontanelle swelling (BF), then it is calculated the discriminant function (F) by the formula:F = 1,4191 × ABD + 0,2033 × TAFSP - 0,6872 × SCC + 0,1794 × DOWN + 0,7636 × TCC + 2,1352 × SIN + 1,1020 × BF + 0,9071 × DR + 1,9588 × EMR - 4,0946.In case when F <0 it is predicted a favorable evolution, and when F> 0 - an unfavorable evolution of heart failure complicated by pulmonary hypertension. |
