PURPOSE: A counter weight device for a forklift is provided to obtain driving stability of a forklift by changing the location of a counter weight because the height of a lifted tail end can be grasped based on detecting signals of a height detecting center. CONSTITUTION: A counter weight device(1000) for a forklift(2000) comprise s a counter weight(300), an upper cylinder(110), a lower cylinder(120), a first solenoid valve(510), a second solenoid valve(520), a power transmission part, a height detecting sensor(400), and a controller. The counter weight is mounted on a tail end of a forklift. One side of the upper cylinder is fixed in the forklift and the other side thereof is hinge-connected to the upper part of the counter weight in order to upwardly rotate the counter weight from the lower part of the forklift. One side of the lower cylinder is connected to the forklift under the upper cylinder and the other side of thereof is connected to the lower part of the counter weight in order to straightly move the counter weight along the forward and backward directions of the forklift. The first and second solenoid valves are loaded on the forklift and are respectively connected to each cylinder to control the operation of each cylinder. |
