PURPOSE: A freezing prevention insulation cover for a water gauge is provided to install an insulation cover in a water gauge protection basket by using various materials. CONSTITUTION: A freezing prevention insulation cover(1) for a water gauge comprises an outside heat insulation cover(2), an inside heat insulation cover(3), and a lid(4). The materials for the outside heat insulation cover and the inside heat insulation cover are different. The outside heat insulation cover is formed by silver foil and the inside heat insulation cover is formed by elastic heat insulating member. An inclined bent portion(9) is formed in the inside heat insulation cover. The outside heat insulation cover and the inside heat insulation cover are attached.
