摘要 The invention relates to air-cushion rail transport. Channels narrowing towards the exit thereof provided with the outlets of air flow generators are arranged along the travel path of a transportation means, and arc-shaped flow channels with inlets in the bottom of the transportation means and outlets which are guided to the surface thereof and are oriented in a direction opposite to the direction of travel are arranged in series in the body of the transportation means. The channels of the transportation means are pneumatically coupled to the channels of the path so that flowing ducts are formed. The generators can be switched according to a travelling wave diagram in such a way that flows are formed in front of the transportation means, the bottom of which contains elements for centering with respect to the path. The method involves forming local air cushions for acting on the bottom in such a way that a high pressure zone is formed thereunder. The flows formed by the generators are directed to the path channels at an angle to the transportation means and are accelerated. Some flows are directed to the inlets of the flow channels where said flows are untwisted and ejected in order to generate a propelling force by guiding them in a direction opposite to the direction of travel. Additional flows, the number of which is changed in proportion to the speed of travel of the transportation means, are formed in the travelling wave mode in front of the transportation means. The flows at the outlet from the channels are deflected in the direction of travel of the transportation means, thereby decelerating it. The invention provides high load-carrying ability, high reactive forces for creating propulsion speed, quick and reliable operation under unfavorable outer factors.
