A METHOD FOR THE TOXICITY ASSESSMENTS OF NANO-MATERIALS USING FLOW CYTOMETRY

PURPOSE: A method for evaluating hazard is provided to selectively evaluate direct toxicity and to resolve errors generated during the evaluation. CONSTITUTION: A method or evaluating hazard of nanoparticles in vitro comprises: a step of exposing a cell layer to the nanoparticle and dying fluorescence; a step of performing flow cytometry for the cell layer; and a step of quantitating apoptosis level. The flow cytometry result is scattered data and fluorescence signal data.
