PURPOSE: A push button starter having a waterproof structure is provided to protect the starter from fluids by draining water through a drain structure. CONSTITUTION: A push button starter having a waterproof structure comprises a housing(110), a cover ring(120), a button cap(130), an indicator(140), a light shielding member(160), a circuit board(170), a lower connector(176), a bobbin(180), and an antenna cover(190). The housing comprises a draining space(114), and a drain port(116). The draining space is formed between an outer wall and an inner wall, and the drain port is formed in the lower part of the outer wall. The cover ring is fixed to the upper outer wall of the housing. The button cap is mounted to the upper part of a movable block. An elongated hole(132) is formed in the center of the a packing groove. The indicator is inserted into the elongated hole of the button cap. The light shielding member is mounted between the movable block and the button cap, and fixes the indicator. The circuit board is vertically connected to the upper part of the housing. The lower connector electrically connects the circuit board and an external device. The bobbin is formed on the outer surface of the housing, and wound with antenna coils(182).
