PURPOSE: A converter control device and an HVDC(High Voltage Direct Current) system including the same are provided to efficiently reduce signal operation time by detecting AC and DC. CONSTITUTION: A voltage detecting unit outputs a first frequency signal, a second frequency signal, a first phase, and a second phase. A reverse harmonic generating unit detects a first harmonic signal and a second harmonic signal and generates a reverse harmonic signal. A triangular wave generating unit(140) generates a triangular wave signal. A pulse generator(180) outputs a pulse at an intersection of the triangular wave signal and the reverse harmonic signal. A reference signal generator(160) outputs a reference signal by using the triangular wave signal and the reverse harmonic signal. A frequency corrector(150) outputs the triangular wave signal with the corrected frequency.
