PURPOSE: A carbon composite using the self-sintering characteristic of cokes, a method for manufacturing the same, a fuel cell separator using the same are provided to improve the battery characteristic and the physical and chemical characteristic of the composite. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a carbon composite includes the following: cokes are mixed with a resin binder to obtain a mixture. 8-12 weight% of volatile materials are contained in the cokes. The mixture is molded into a molded body. The molded body is carbonized. The content of the cokes is between 75 and 95 weight%, and the content of the resin binder is between 5 and 25 weight% based on the total weight of the mixture. The resin binder is a thermosetting resin. |
