PURPOSE: A drug release type stent is provided to prevent the separation thereof from a lesion area and to deliver drug to the lesion area. CONSTITUTION: A drug release type stent comprises a stent body unit(10) and a projection(20). The stent body unit is made of stainless steel and is formed the shape of a cylinder by weaving wires. The projection is made of carboxymethyl cellulose, hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and polyvinylpyrrolidone and is formed to be protruded from the outside.
