PURPOSE: A power transmission apparatus in a home network is provided to reduce communication costs by mutually matching a power transmission circuit arranged on the transmission end of a home network with a power reception circuit. CONSTITUTION: A power reception unit(200) includes a transmission and reception circuit. The transmission and reception circuit is connected to a home network. The transmission and reception circuit constitutes a p-n junction based power switching circuit by connecting with an output end of a power transmission circuit. In case the p-n junction based power switching circuit is completed, the power reception unit receives power from a power transmission unit.
