<p>PURPOSE: An electrochemical cell is provided to smoothly discharge gas generated from inside through a gas permeable cell and prevent contaminant from inflowing inside the electrochemical cell. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical cell comprises an electrode assembly in which electrical energy is saved, a case which includes a body in which the electrode assembly is accepted and a lid(24) which covers the top of the body, and has holes inside so that the gas generated from inside can be discharged to outside, a gas-permeable membrane(61) which is installed at the lower surface of the lid in order to cover the hole of the lid, and a gas membrane supporting plate(67) which is installed at the lower part of the gas membrane, and has a third hole(29) which is smaller than a second hole. The hole on the lid comprises a first hole and the second hole(28) which is bigger than the first hole.</p> |
