PURPOSE: AnAuctusimonas hordei SR5 strain with an abilityinducing plant pathogen resistance or promoting plant growth is provided to effectively promote plant growth. CONSTITUTION: AnAuctusimonas hordei SR5strain(KACC 91611P) has ability of inducing plant pathogen resistance or promoting plant growth. The plant pathogen is Gloeosporium musarum, phytophthora, Rhizoctonia solani, Trichoderma harzianum fungus, Fussarium osxysporum, Erysiphe graminis, or Pyricularia. The strain generates 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate deaminase. A method for promoting plant pathogen resistance or plant growth comprises a step of contacting the strain to a plant. An agrochemical composition contains the strain as an active ingredient.
