Disclosed is a dispenser (1) for use with a medicament carrier (2). The medicament carrier (2) contains at least one medicament product which can be released from the carrier. The dispenser has a body (12), a collecting conduit, and a dispensing aperture (16). The body includes a holding portion (14) for holding a medicament carrier. The holding portion includes at least one inlet aperture arranged to receive a medicament released from the medicament carrier. The collecting conduit connects the at least one inlet aperture and the at least one dispensing aperture. The dispenser is configured such that a medicament dispensed from the medicament carrier passes through the inlet aperture and into the collecting conduit from which it can be dispensed through the dispensing aperture. The body has a first portion (20) which includes the holding portion, and a second portion which includes the dispensing aperture. The first and second portions are slidealby coupled so that the dispenser is moveable between a closed and an open position such that the medicament carrier and the dispensing aperture cannot be accessed simultaneously.
