THE KEYBOARD OF A PORTABLE TERMINAL AND KEY INPUT METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable terminal keyboard and a key input method thereof are provided to prevent a user from frequently using a specific key and also prevent a damage of the key caused by the frequent use of it. CONSTITUTION: If a level key is inputted, an arrangement of characters corresponding to the level of the level key is displayed. A character is selected among the displayed character arrangement. The selected character is inputted. The level key includes numeric characters. The level of the inputted level key is the numeric character included in the inputted level key. A touch input about a character is inputted among the displayed character arrangement in order to select the character.
